Beras 15% Hancur: Tiada di pasaran Kota Kinabalu

Salam,

The Importance Of Sleep

A man can go two weeks without eating. But if he doesn't rest at all, he
can only survive for one week. Sleeping provides us the time to rest our
internal organs, eyes and brains. Poor sleep quality can cause internal
damage to our internal organs and brains. Therefore, sleeping is very
important to us. If you wish to have a long life and stay healthy,
please take note of the advice below.

5 DON'TS when you are sleeping

DON'T SLEEP WITH WATCH
Watches can emit a certain level of radioactivity. Though small, but if
you wear your watch to bed for a long time, it might have adverse
effects on your health.

DON'T SLEEP WITH BRA
Scientists in America have discovered those that wear bras for more than
12 hours have a higher risk of getting breast cancer. So go to bed
without it.

DON'T SLEEP WITH PHONE
Putting the phone beside your bed or anywhere near you is not
encouraged.
Though some of us will use phones as alarm clocks, but please put the
phone as far as possible. Scientists have proved that electrical items
including mobile phone and television sets emit magnetic waves when
used. These waves can cause disruptions to our nervous system. Therefore
if you need to put your mobile phone near you, switch it off first.

DON'T SLEEP WITH MAKE UP
People who sleep with make up might have skin problems in the long run.
Sleeping with make up will cause the skin to have difficulty in
breathing and problem in perspiring. You will also need a much longer
time to go into deep sleep.

DON'T SLEEP WITH OTHERS' WIFE
You may never wake up again.

True Story : Lizard Love

This is a true story that happened in Japan.In order to renovate the house,someone in Japan breaks open the wall.

Japanese houses normally have a hollow space between the wooden walls. When tearing down the walls,he found that there was a lizard stuck there because a nail from outside hammered into one of its feet. He sees this, feels pity, and at the same time curious, as when he checked the nail, it was nailed 10 years ago when the house was! first built.

What happened?

The lizard has survived in such position for 10 years! In a dark wall partition for 10 years without moving,it is impossible and mind-boggling. Then he wondered how this lizard survived for 10 years! without moving a single step--since its foot was nailed!

So he stopped his work and observed the lizard, what it has been doing, and what and how it has been eating. Later, not knowing from where it came, appears another lizard, with food in its mouth.Ah! He was stunned and touched deeply.For the lizard that was stuck by nail,another lizard has been feeding it forthe past 10 years...

Imagine? it has been doing that untiringly for 10 long years, without giving up hope on its partner. Think, will u do that to your partner?

Think, will you do it to your Mom, Who brought you after a big struggle of nearly TEN long months?

Or at least to your Dad,Friends, Co-workers, brothers and Sisters?

Imagine what a small creature can do that a creature blessed with a brilliant mind can't.

A young man, a student in one of the universities, was one day taking a
walk
with a professor, who was commonly called the student's friend for
his
kindness to those who waited on his instructions.

As they went along,
they

saw lying in the path a pair of old shoes, which were supposed to
belong
to
a poor man who was working in a field close by
, and who had nearly
finished
his day's work…

The student turned to the professor, saying: "Let us play the man a
trick:
we will hide his
shoes, and hide ourselves behind those bushes, and
wait to see his
perplexity when he cannot find them…"

“My young friend," answered the professor, "we should never amuse
ourselves
at the expense of the poor… But you are rich, and may give yourself a
much
greater pleasure by means of this poor man. Put a coin in each shoe,
and
then we will hide ourselves and watch how this affects him."

The student did so and they both placed themselves behind the bushes
close
by. The poor man soon finished his work, and came across the field to
the
path where he had left his coat and shoes…

While putting on his coat he
slipped his foot into one of his shoes, but feeling something hard, he
stooped down to feel what it was, and found the coin. Astonishment and
wonder were seen upon his countenance. He gazed upon the coin, turned
it
around, and looked at it again and again.

He then looked around him on all sides, but no person was to be seen.
He
now
put the money into his pocket, and proceeded to put on the other shoe;
but
his surprise was doubled on finding the other coin…

His feelings
overcame
him… he fell upon his knees, looked up to heaven and uttered aloud a
fervent
thanksgiving in which he spoke of his wife, sick and helpless, and his
children without bread, whom this timely bounty, from some unknown
hand,
would save from perishing…

The student stood there deeply affected, and his eyes filled with
tears.
"Now," said the professor, are you not much better pleased than if you
had
played your intended trick?"

The youth replied, "You have taught me a lesson which I will never
forget…
I feel now the truth of these words, which I never understood before:
"It's more blessed to give than to receive."

If you want happiness….
For an hour--- take a nap
For a day--- go fishing
For a year---inherit a fortune
For many years---love someone
For a lifetime---help someone…

Ready? GO!!! (scroll down)

First Question:

You are participating in a race.
You overtake the second person. What position are you in?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Answer: If you answered that you are first, then you are absolutely wrong! If you overtake the second person and you take his place, you are second!
Answer: If you answered that you are second to last, then you are wrong again. Tell me, how can you overtake the LAST person?
You're not very good at this, are
you?
Third Question:
Very tricky arithmetic! Note: This must be done in your head only. Do NOT use paper and pencil or a
calculator. Try it.
Take 1000 and add 40 to it. Now add another 1000 . Now add 30. Add another 1000 Now add 20 . Now add another 1000. Now add 10 What is the total?
Scroll down for answer.....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Did you get 5000 ?

The correct answer is actually 4100.

If you don't believe it, check it with a calculator! Today is definitely not your day, is it? Maybe you'll get the last question right... Maybe.

Fourth Question:

Mary's father has five daughters: 1. Nana, 2. Nene, 3. Nini, 4. Nono. What is the name of the fifth daughter?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Did you Answer Nunu? NO! Of course it isn't.
Her name is Mary. Read the question again!
Okay, now the bonus round:
A mute person goes into a shop and wants to buy a toothbrush. By imitating the action of brushing his teeth he successfully expresses himself to the shopkeeper and the purchase is done.
Next, a blind man comes into the shop who wants to buy a pair of sunglasses; how does HE indicate what he wants?
Health Ministry: Excessive melamine positif : White Rabbit Creamy Candy
Report by The Sun Daily
Health Ministry: Excessive melamine found in White Rabbit Creamy Candy
Giam Say Khoon
KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 06, 2008): The White Rabbit Creamy Candy seized for tests by the Health Ministry recently has been found to contain melamine exceeding the country's standard of 2.5 parts per million for adults and 1 part per million for children.
Health Minister Datuk Liow Tiong Lai said the candy, a product imported from China, was found to contain 135ppm of melamine.
He said the state health departments, the importer of the candy and retailers have been told to destroy the product.
"We will take action against those who fail to comply with the warning under the Food Act," he told reporters after visiting the National Health Laboratory here.
Liow said the cheese powder used by Pizza Hut Taiwan had been tested to be melamine negative as the cheese was made in New Zealand and the locally-produced creamer, one of the ingredients used to make the cheese powder, was tested negative.
He said until today, the ministry has sealed a total of 2,719 suspected items worth RM683,703.88 and collected a total of 775 food products for testing.
"We have tested 64 products and are all within the melamine standard approved by the ministry," he said.
Liow also announced that the ministry had asked its National Health Laboratory, Universiti Sains Malaysia and Universiti Malaya to help the Chemistry Department conduct melamine test on the food products seized.
"Each test will take two days to complete and I am very satisfied with the commitment of our staff in testing the products. We are trying to set up more laboratories in Johor, Ipoh and Kota Kinabalu to test suspected products."
Liow said vegetables and fruits imported from China are still held at level four alert following news reports from Korea on Friday (Oct 4) that they might also be melamine contaminated.
He said although the vegetables and fruits are at level four alert, they are still allowed to be sold in the market and if they are tested positive for melamine, the supply will be immediately stopped. Dairy products placed at level five alert are sealed until a test is conducted.
For more information on melamine, the ministry's Food Safety and Quality Division can be contacted at 03-88833655/88833503/88833652/88833500 from 8am
to 9pm daily or visit http://fsq.moh.gov.my.
Report By New Straits Times
2008/10/06
White Rabbit confectionery tests positive for melamine
The Health Ministry has directed that White Rabbit Creamer Candy and Ego White Rabbit Creamy Candy be removed from the shelf and destroyed after tests found that they are melamine-positive.
Health Minister Datuk Liow Tiong Lai said laboratory tests showed that the candies contained melamine above the standard or 135 parts per million (ppm).
“Supermarkets have been directed to remove the products from the market. State Health Departments have been directed to destroy them to safeguard consumers.
“Offenders can be prosecuted under the Food Act 1983,” he told reporters after visiting the Sungai Buluh public health laboratory here today.
Liow said laboratories would take two days to analyse each product sent for melamine tests.
Sixty-four food samples had been taken and analysed by laboratories for melamine since Sept 15. A total of 2,719 food items comprising 775 products had been seized.
The samples were analysed by laboratories at the Chmistry Department, Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry and the Health Ministry.
The health ministry had also sought help from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Universiti Malaya (UM) and laboratories in Johor Baru and Kota Kinabalu aimed at speeding up tests.
Liow said tests on ’Cheese Packets’ made from creamer and cheese powder imported from New Zealand found that it was free from melamine.
“The creamer used in making 3-in-1 instant coffee and instant cereal had been reported tainted by several websites after Pizza Hut Taiwan found melamine at 70 ppm in ’Cheese Packets.”
On media reports from South Korea that vegetables from China could be tainted with melamine, Liow said the health ministry was monitoring agriculture produce from China.
Among the 64 food products analysed and found to comply with melamine standard are Chocolate Coated Wafer (Passion), Oreo White Chocolate Wafer Stick (Kraft), Mini Cornetto Chocomint and Tiramisu Flavoured (Wall’S), Moo Soft Cookie Sandwich (Wall’s), 123 Honey Powder Milk (Dutch Lady), Strawberry Flavoured Milk (Dutch Lady).
Baby Bites Carrot (Take One), Mini Poppers Strawberry and Vanilla Flavoured (Wall’s), Full Cream Powder Milk (Dailylac), Yogurt Jelly (Strong), Milk Chocolate (M&M), Candy (Kong Chui), Menthos Yogurt and Chocolate Eggs Rolls.
